FlexStr8 Snap on Encoder system
for the Epson Colorworks 7500 allows variable vibrant color data and
variable UHF RFID integration at high operating speeds (30cm/sec =
11”/sec) The FlexStr8 Encoder software, based on print job, reliably
encodes RFID data (96/128 bit EPC, 64 bit password data and lock
configuration) to the tags using the Snap on unit and synchronizes the
encoded information to the print data. The FlexStr8 Encoder software can
encode from either an Excel file or csv file. The software is capable
of locking inlays based on file data. It supports any of the memory
banks and any combination including, EPC memory, user memory, reserved
memory, access memory & kill memory. Supported lock options are
unlocked, permanently locked, password locked, permanently write locked.
The FlexStr8 Snap on Encoder system identifies rejected tags on the fly.
In addition, the system maintains a log file to track the defective tag
and reason for failure.
