Copy Modes

The various copy modes shown in the attached illustration enable to backup data efficiently
and reliably. Copied areas are marked in red and data areas in blue.
The duplication time depends on the supported speed of the hard disk controller chip.

Note: For cross-platform duplication, it is recommended to use a data hard disk.
When copying an operating system, the same protocol device should be used
to ensure that the device can boot properly into the operating system.

Erase Methods

The ADR PCIe-Hybrid Serie offers various Erase Modes including:

• Quick Erase,
• Full Erase,
• DoD-Erase and
• DoD-Erase & Compare. In addition the device ensures dual data verification by comparison and CRC
  to ensure the accuracy of the copied data.

Our data copying device is highly compatible and supports

• Windows (FAT16/32/64)
  
• Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4/LVM) and
  
• Mac (HFS/HFS+/HFSX) formats in quick copy mode.
  

All system and proprietary formats are supported in full media copy mode.
The ADR PCIe-Hybrid series is designed for capacities of 18 TB or more
and offers support for MBR and GPT partitioning.
It also automatically recognizes and supports NVMe/SATA signals for cross-platform duplication.
